Perfect Liars by Rebecca Reid

One night. One secret. One crime. Three girls.

Nancy, Georgia and Lila were all very different girls who struck up a friendship at boarding school. Together, they were involved in a tragic crime. Sixteen years later, one of them wants to admits their guilt. But, what do the other two women want? And, how far will they go to protect their life?

This book is set over one evening. Each character is currently privileged but not all of them have been so or would currently consider themselves to be so. Keeping these two factors in mind, the book reaches a deep level of emotion among the group regarding their relationships, as well as the event which happened in the past.

The book is very much a one sitting kind of read. The author keeps you guessing throughout as to regards what the event was. Maintaining momentum which concluded so spectacularly at the end.

As a reader, I became invested in the outcomes of the main characters. I very much enjoyed the read and would love to see further books involving these characters in the future.

Verdict: 4 stars.
